Expectations, hopes, fears

Expectations

  • My expectations about this seminars of management are few, but very important actually, because our life is based on expectations, so, my expectations are: to understand how to manage my ideas; to know more about management than I knew before.
  • I expect to learn a lot of useful information that will help me become a good economist in the future.
  • To develop my knowledge.
  • To learn new things in an original way, not only by reading a book or a lecture, but also by talking, expressing ideas, maybe interactive games.
  • Teachers to be able to explain difficult things, terms, in a simple way.
  • To find out the “unknown” things about management.
  • Become a good economist and learn many things about economy.
  • Encounter opportunities for working abroad at a reputable company.
  • Get some experience in working as a team with my fellow class mates.
  • Get along with the teachers and class mates and have a fruitful working relationship.
  • Understanding the subject.
  • Being involved all of us.
  • Learning important and essential things about management, things that can be applied in real life.
  • Liking it.
  • Speaking English.
  • Passing the exam without a problem.
  • My expectations are to learn something more about this specialisation, to understand the classes, what the teacher want to say and transmit.
  • I expect from me, first of all, to be the last student and to never be late for classes, as I usually am.
  • I expect to apply my knowledge in the domain I have chosen and not to regret it.
  • I think this faculty and its professors will provide me with everything I need to know.
  • To graduate this university.
  • I expect to learn lots of things in this field.
  • To improve my knowledge in terms of economics, management and leadership.
  • I expect to pass all of my exams (to actually finish university).
  • I expect to form same friendships.
  • I expect to learn how to manage a business.
  • Overall, I don’t have anything to expect, nothing to hope for and nothing to fear of.
  • I expect to travel a lot this year and in the next two years, because I am finally 18 and I love to travel.
  • I expect that, with the help of this school and class, to open my mind more, to see things from other perspectives and to build up the bases of my career.
  • Also, as I see this school as a challenge, I expect to overcome this and to be happy with myself.
  • Pass my exams with high grades.
  • A high rate of knowledge after I finish the Uni.
  • To study and to learn about a lot of things that I don’t know much about or I know nothing about.
  • To connect with the professors and with my colleagues.
  • To be present at every seminar and class.
  • I expect from this faculty to also make me be the best in everything that I do.

  • I expect to get a good quality education and to obtain the knowledge I need in order to become a respectable member of the society and in order to become an entrepreneur.
  • I expect to have a lot of opportunities here and to be able to get involved in NGOs.
  • I expect to develop my self on as many fields as possible and become the persona that I want to be and achieve certain attributes in terms of personality.
  • The course will help us broaden our knowledge and understanding of the subject of Management.
  • We will learn how to use the concepts theoretically and to apply them practically.

  • To have a lot of difficult situations… but, obstacle is the way…
  • I expect from this faculty to teach me all about the financial stuff that is going around the world these days and in the future and also to make me study economy and other lectures with passion and dedication.
  • I came to this faculty because I really think that it will be a great opportunity for me in order to become a successful economist and also to make me love this job.
  • I think that I’ll learn how to manage a business, how to plan my financial life, and more other interesting things about economics, because I love this field and I will like to learn more.
  • I think that I will manage to understand management.
  • I expect a civilized classroom.
  • I expect a good professor (whom we have 🙂 ).

Hopes

  • My hopes about this seminars are not so much too, but first of all I hope to find a job, where I can use my knowledge about management.
  • I hope that there will be a lot of activities.
  • I hope I’ll be prepared enough after these 3 years in order to find a job in this domain.
  • To have real-life applications (e.g.: inviting personalities in the field or going to companies and seeing how things work).
  • Graduate without any trouble.
  • Find a well payed and stable job after finishing the 3 years of faculty.
  • Have chosen the right faculty for me.
  • Be successful in what I decide to do after graduating.
  • Doing practical things at the course, not only theoretical.
  • Learning stuff that will help me in the future.
  • Being able to communicate without struggling when talking about economic stuff (that means REALLY knowing the subject, understanding it and even applying it in life).

  • To learn how to speak in front of more than one or two people in any language and to learn how to present my own opinions.

  • To be able to adopt my strict work schedule.
  • I hope that I will find out soon what are the things that I am interested in, and make me study them with pleasure as I’m not sure yet of what I would like to make a living out of.
  • AlsoI hope that I’ll not regret my decision of becoming a student at this faculty.
  • I hope that the teachers will make the courses interesting and more other interesting things about economics, because I love this field and I will like to learn more.
  • I hope that I will get a 10 at management.
  • I hope to have a fun and interesting university time.
  • I hope that here I will be able to find new friends.
  • I would love to find a role model (and maybe more of them) among the professors or the other people I will meet here.
  • I hope to find the love of my life until 23.
  • I hope that I will visit new countries while being student and maybe I will get an ERASMUS scholarship.
  • I hope that this course and this applications will help me, in the next few years, to administer a company, but I hope that the knowledge accumulated at this subject will help me even in my private life, because even in the private life we need to control our feelings, money, time.
  • I hope to find a well paid job where I’ll be able to use the knowledge I accumulated.
  • I hope to go abroad for short periods of time, to learn more about different cultures, through my job.

Fears

  • My biggest fear is not to pass the exam and not to find a job.
  • My fear is that I won’t enjoy or I won’t like and I’ll have to switch universities.
  • Not to find a proper level of technology to use in classes.
  • Not to interact and exchange ideas with the teachers/students.
  • Not to give my best under some circumstances.
  • Giving presentations in front of the class.
  • Failing exams.
  • Having lots of homework and projects.
  • Embarrassing myself by not knowing a certain topic when asked to talk about it.
  • Getting bored.
  • Not being interested.
  • Not liking the course.
  • Studying only because I have to pass the exam.
  • Studying this course and graduating this faculty only in order to get a diploma at the end.
  • Not learning something useful for myself.
  • To speak louder.
  • To speak in front of more than one people.
  • Not to understand some classes.
  • To make someone feel uncomfortable.
  • Not to present my true value and to make a wrong impression.
  • I fear that I will not succeed.
  • I fear that I’ll fail.
  • My biggest fear are spiders.
  • Maths.
  • I fear that I won’t like, in the long term, the program that I have chosen.
  • I fear that I will change my mind in the future about my choice of university or program or that I will regret not actually going through with my initial idea of studying abroad.
  • I have no fears at all regarding this seminar.
  • Overall, I don’t have anything to expect, nothing to hope for and nothing to fear of.
  • Regarding school, I am afraid of not being able to get the highest grades, to be able to go with the ERASMUS+ program.
  • Regarding family, I am afraid of losing them because they are so important to me, as well as my best friends.
  • Not being able to meet up my expectations and to show everybody what I truly can do.
  • Elevators.
  • Not being able to fulfil my ambitions.
  • As a student I fear that the things won’t be so easy and that maybe I won’t excel at everything and that maybe sometimes I won’t be good enough.
  • I also fear that the subject will be a little difficult and also that the exam is going to be hard too.
  • I fear that I have so little confidence in myself and that maybe,
    sometimes, I will fail.
  • Not to pass the exams.
  • As every student I fear that I won’t be good enough and not achieve my goals.
  • I’m also worried that I won’t be able to get to my true potential.
  • I fear that I’m too idealist and that my dreams will get in the way of achieving my goals.
  • Funny enough my fears are not related to failing the written exam but failing in a real life situation.
  • I wish that the university together with all the extra-curriculum experiences will prepare me to become a well rounded member of our society.
  • After 3 years of university I won’t find a really good job and I would have to re-orientate.
  • That I will learn a lot of theory and won’t be able to practice.
  • That I didn’ choose right because I like more mathematical subjects thatn reading “historical” things.
  • I’m afraid of the first exam session because I don’t know what to expect.
  • I’m afraid that sooner or later I will eventually realize that I made a wrong choice regarding the faculty, but this is a small fear that doesn’t have any kind of foundations, because so far I really like it.
  • To pay for my exams.
  • Presentations.
  • To miss/skip a lot of lectures.
  • To not understand a lecture (maths).
  • Maths.
  • Failing exams (exams in general).
  • Not focusing on what I have to finish.
  • Missing lectures/seminars.
  • Homework/presentations.
  • Being exhausted after 8 hours of seminars on Thursday and not being able to pay attention to the Management seminar.
  • Not being able to perform at some of my two specialisations, and failing both even if I will work hard.
  • Being ashamed at the Law Faculty because of the fact that I don’t really speak Romanian well.
  • One of my fears is that I won’t end up doing what I like in life and I will have to make a living out of something that won’t be right for me.
  • I’m a little concerned about the exams, and this is my only fear.
  • I fear that wouldn’t be able to express myself in front of an audience.
  • Vampires.
  • I am afraid of being asked to talk about something that I don’t know anything about.
  • I am afraid that I won’t be as smart as my other class-mates.
  • I am afraid that I will be hurt by the others.
  • I am afraid to talk for big crowds (big = more than no individuals)
    , especially on special topics.
  • I am afraid that I will disappoint myself by not having the grades/results I expect to have.
  • I am afraid that, at one pint, I will fail at something and I won’t be able to get over it.
  • I am afraid that I won’t be able to understand MATHEMATICS (but I will!)
  • My worst fear is not to pass the exam, as well as to spend this course and those seminars without understanding anything in management.
  • Failing the exam.
  • Not being able to find a decent job.
